I have wagered on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
