I have enjoyed countless of rounds of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first $80 bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
