I have played millions of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
