I have wagered on millions of hands of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
